All Saints Church Woodchurch

All Saints is the beating heart of this thriving village community. The main service is Holy Communion at 10.30 am on the first three Sundays in every month and on the fourth Sunday a Family Service. Worship and music combine the best of both traditional and contemporary styles. The warm and friendly congregation will be pleased to meet visitors over refreshments in the north aisle immediately after the service. In addition, a simple service of Holy Communion takes place every Sunday at 8.00am. and there is a service of Evensong on the 2nd. and 4th. Sundays in the month.

Woodchurch is in a parish 'cluster' with Appledore, Ebony, Stone and Wittersham. On the fifth Sunday in the month joint cluster services are held and service times may vary so please check with the priest in charge for information.

'Little Saints', a happening for under 5s and parents, takes place on the first Friday in every month at 2.00pm. and new arrivals are warmly welcomed. After a time of play there is a short informal service followed by refreshments; the afternoon ends in time for older children to be collected from Woodchurch CE Primary School next door. Older children attend the 'Sunday Club' which meets in the school at 10.30am. every Sunday; the teens group -'The Gang' meets on the 3rd. Sunday in the month at the same time.

An enthusiastic all age group of singers practises in church normally on Monday evenings. The church runs a full programme of house groups, social activities and is actively engaged in the community. Full details are available from the magazine and noticeboards in this fine mediaeval church which is open for prayer during daylight hours. The church also has its own website where you can find information about who's who and what's on.
