Art Society

Meetings are held weekly in the Memorial Hall. Our membership is made up of Woodchurch villagers and other amateur artists from the surrounding district. We enjoy painting for pleasure and socialising. For variety, workshop days are arranged with local professional artists. The use of different media is demonstrated in some of our sessions by talented members or visitors. During the long summer breaks outdoor painting days are arranged to easily accessible sites. An annual event is the May exhibittion, showing pictures we have enjoyed creating. Many are for sale at very reasonable prices.

A regular monthly film club with annual membership fee of £6 giving access to ten films through 2011 for just £3 per viewing (non-members may buy at the door for £4).
