Morris Men dancing at Woodchurch Windmill
Woodchurch Morris Men – have been dancing for 15 years and are proud to be a traditional side – most of the men live in or around our lovely Kent village. We are based at the Six Bells pub where we regularly meet to enjoy excellent ale and to admire our photographs in a corner of the bar.

Performing in Cotswold Morris tradition – lively dances from the English Home Counties with uplifting tunes – we are delighted to maintain the old ways and to be part of an unbroken line of merriment and carousing stretching back countless generations.

Our programme starts on May Day when we welcome the summer by dancing on Woodchurch village Green at 7 am. We dance mostly on Friday evenings at some of the best local real ale pubs, providing a full evening’s entertainment of music, dance and song.

We are sure our dancing will bring you pleasure and inspire you to give a little silver to our collection to ensure your luck, health and fertility. The money helps towards our expenses and local charities.

We welcome new members, whether to dance, play music or just join us in enjoying the Morris. Practises are held in the village school on Thursday evenings between October and April.
