Scouts and Guides

Woodchurch has a thriving community of Scouts and Guides and its very own Scout & Guide Community Centre in Lower Road, Woodchurch where all meetings take place. You can find out more about the Community Centre by clicking here .

1st Woodchurch Scout Group

1st Woodchurch Scout Group is a very lively and exciting community and is the largest Scout Group in the district. It runs 5 separate meetings each week, for the different age groups and welcomes boys and girls alike.
All the section leaders give their time and energy totally voluntarily and are supported by a large and active committee of leaders, parents and other supporters, which helps with the smooth running of the group administration and fund raising for equipment and activities.

The Committee meets approximately every six weeks to arrange fund raising events and support the administration of the Group.
To support, join, or contact the committee, telephone Gill Temple on 01233 733701 or email gillian@gilliantemple.co.uk

Beavers are for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 1/2 years old. Beavers enjoy many activities during their evening meetings and also go on weekend sleepovers, sports tournaments, art and craft events, expeditions and parties.
